Save Syria
Campaign
Save Syria is an awareness campaign about the Syrian Refugee Crisis. Since 2011, 13 million Syrians need humanitarian aid. 6 million are displaced within the country while 5.5 million are displaced in surrounding countries. This is the biggest humanitarian crisis of our era.

The commonly known phrase “walk a mile in their shoes” is manipulated to represent the distance from south Syria to Gaziantep,Turkey, where the closest UNHCR office is, and is paired with photos to express the long and difficult journey refugees make. When placed side by side, the background of the posters also create a map.

Included in this campaign are posters, banners, and a small booklet of resources.
